Put it in your calendar

Subscribe once and the block day shows up in the calendar you already use.

Calendar apps decide for themselves how often to check for changes, and some only do it once a day. After a snow day or an unexpected closure, this page is up to date within minutes — your calendar app may not be yet.

Apple Calendar on a Mac lets you close that gap: right-click the subscription, choose Get Info, and set Auto-refresh to every hour.
